ENDIKA a.k.a. Andrew Currier is the composer, bassist and driving musical force behind Panthelion and the nu class movement. Panthelion takes its name from an ancient Macedonian word used to describe a temple dedicated to the worship of all Gods which reflects Currier's music in how it bridges the gap between the concert hall and the street. Currier’s music has been called “The Evolution of Jazz” by the Palo Alto Weekly and has earned Panthelion several weeks in the No.1 position in over 20 international radio markets. Percussionist Laxman Drivas started out as a MC and producer of Bay Area underground hip hop. After almost a decade of touring and recording with the San Francisco based hip hop/world fusion act Audiopharmacy, Drivas set out on his own and evolved into one of the most unique voices in modern drumming today. In addition to his vairous sized cajons (peruvian slave drums) Drivas also employs a large gong, cymbals and other world percussion instruments. Trumpeter Jeff Bordes has been a familiar face on the international music scene since he started touring with Dizzy Gellespie in his teens. Bordes has collaborated with such esteemed artists
as Branford Marsalis, Tom Petty, Steve Earle, Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow and the Sugarhill Gang.
David Knight, an idosynchratic tenor that lends his smooth tone to the current incarnation of Panthelion. Knight's impeccable intonation and high reaching register adds a magical element to Currier's compositions, which in a live setting can be both haunting and beautiful.

What is?

Panthelion is the innovative force behind the new musical genre known as "Nu Class" Nu class stands for Neo Urban Classical Music Nu Class takes the sophistication of the concert hall and seamlessly blends it with the raw hip shaking grooves from off of the streets. Stylistically nu class draws on elements of jazz, classical, tribal, urban-groove, hardcore and electronica. Panthelion's current instrument lineup includes piano, upright bass, cello, trumpet, percussion, voice, electric guitar, loopers and live electronics.
